Inspired by real-life interviews conducted by our playwright Yuya Sato, in Kabuki-cho Tokyo, Net Cafe Refugee is a compelling new play that explores the complex lives of individuals seeking refuge from society. The play reflects the fragility of human connection and the quiet resilience of those who try to hold on, portraying social isolation and emotional complexity of living in modern society.
